We depend on quality woodlands and their preservation to provide quality products for production of our log homes. It is this concern and care for the environment that makes Old Timer Log Homes a very different kind of log home and supply company. Old Timer Log Homes purchases raw materials from suppliers who endorse forest management practices that promote sustainable forests and result in long-term environmental, social, and economic benefit. Our suppliers promote implementation of and compliance with constructive logging laws in all global timber-producing regions.

We design, manufacture, and distribute our homes so we are very aware that it takes the best material to create your home and make it into a beautiful, long-lasting structure. For our homes, Eastern White Pine that comes from several eastern states of the USA and sources from Canada, which gives us flexibility. We are not dependant on just one forest region.

Due to Old Timer Log Homes strict quality control and high standards, not every log that we receive can be used in manufacturing our homes. To minimize waste and help protect our environment, Old Timer Log Homes uses every part of the material possible.

We are committed to recycling our wood and by-products. By finding another use somewhere in our manufacturing process, we sell shavings for pet bedding, horse bedding and other uses.

We continue to be as efficient as possible and use today's technology to save as many trees as possible. Old Timer Log Homes wants there to be as many trees available for generations to come who dream of having a log home. We recognize the importance of protecting our natural resources so that others may have and enjoy them.
